Sun, sun go away...

14 days to go!

Miles Scheduled:
12

Miles Ran:
12.3

Well, I was able to work on my farmer tan today.
It's coming along nicely- if I do say so myself.
It was in the 60's... all sunny and crap.
I know, I know- complaining about cold weather for so long.
Now complaining about warm weather.
I have no problem with the warm- it's the SUN I don't like- not one bit.

I started out a little fast and tried to slow down.
I felt fine, though.
I then decided to try to do at least the
first half of the run at close to marathon pace.
Since it was only 12 miles.
I did that.
Then I did the second half at marathon pace.

Average pace- 8:11
It felt good.
The Jordan Trail is mostly flat w/ small rolling hills.
The marathon is a gradual downhill/flat.
It will be good.

I still feel a little like vomiting when
I remember that the marathon is 2 weeks away.
blarf.
I'm okay.

I hate running in the sun. My legs are all splotchy because it's seriously been years since they've been exposed to this much sun and they don't know what to do. I'm not kidding.
I can't believe your marathon is only TWO WEEKS AWAY! That is crazy - Crazy cool! You have worked so hard, I know you're going to do amazing!
