Now I feel better...

I was really, really needing a GOOD run.

I was considering trying to do 17 this morning.
The 17 that I tried to do on Saturday.

I woke up at 4:30am to rain pounding on my windows...
so I went back to sleep :).
I don't mind some rain running- but not so much the long runs.
17 wet, cold miles didn't sound fun this morning.

My plan now is to do 18 on Thanksgiving morning.

After the husband came home this evening, I headed out.

10 wonderful, wonderful miles.
One of the best runs I have had in a while.
I just felt so good and really could have kept going.
It wasn't super fast or anything...
I did the 5 miles out and 5 back route.
In my neighborhood that means the last half is mostly uphill.
Still, it was great.

Did I mention that it was a good run? ;)

Monday Workout:
10 miles
8:30 pace

Congrats on an awesome run! I'm with you - I've been known to completely change my training plan based on how the weather was that morning. Good call!
