Accident prone...

Thursday Workout:
8 miles
21 degrees- almost felt like summer after the weather we've been having.

I appreciate the feedback on the running mileage.
Also for reminding me that I AM a runner.
It's not so much that I don't think I am a real "runner"
I just still feel like a beginner- which I am.
The longer miles feel good and make me happy. :)

I THINK I will attempt to incorporate a training plan w/ speed work.
AFTER Goofy, that is.

I don't plan on doing any races shorter than the half marathon in 2012.
I'm just not a 5k runner.  Though I would love to be.

I have the Utah Valley Marathon in June...
and I would love to do it in under 3:40.
(Maybe even 3:35, but it scares me to even write that).
I did it in 3:44 this year.
I think I will have to do speed work to get there.
So I will try.

Now for pictures not related to running.

My poor little accident prone middle child.
You know... the one that did this:

and THIS:
All in one year.

They called me from school and told me she fell on the playground.
I went to get her and found this:
Poor little face.

We went out to lunch to make her feel better.
Then we went home...
where, within 5 minutes, she ran her head into a doorknob.
Really hard.

Girlfriend looks like she's been beaten up.
Her birthday is Saturday AND we are getting pictures done.

What a fun memory this will be.

  2. Sagie! Poor little beat up Princess, and so close to her birthday too:( Give her a hug and a happy birthday from me on the day- as usual her card will be completely late. Oops.
I have no doubt that you will meet your UVM goal, you've got the super dedication!
