I really don't remember the forecast calling for snow-
but there it was, waiting for me when I stepped outside at 5:30 am.
It wasn't a lot of snow. Just a little bit. BUT...
It was really cold and things were pretty wet yesterday because of the fog.
Meaning it would be icy.
Those were the thoughts going through my head.
I felt myself running differently, for fear of falling.
The whole run seemed hard because I was focusing on
NOT finding myself face down on the road.
I don't even think it was that slippery,
but I somehow convinced myself that it was
I psyched myself out.
(I've got nothing but hills to run up and down, so that didn't help.)
Do you run in the snow?
Do you run differently or use different shoes?
I have ran on a trail/path in the snow and it was much nicer.
The roads and sidewalks around my house get slippery.
